Oh fun! I just got a Kindle (& a cute Kate Spade novel cover). I’ll add ACL immediately!

    Cuyahogabend on January 13, 2011 1:16 PM:

Just bought a nook Color – ACL looks excellent on it. I don’t have a Kindle though – why couldn’t someone with a Kindle just grab the RSS feed or the URL?

Kindle arrived yesterday. Are all blogs $0.99/mo?

    Jacob on January 13, 2011 11:12 PM:

I love the way it looks on the iPad too. The images look gorgeous.

If you ever optimise the site for an iPad version, I think the side menu could do with a re-design (i.e. sticking it down the bottom or something). Just so that when you log in, you get the pictures nice and large, rather than having to “tap” in to enlarge them.

    Keep up the good work.

And I gotta say, the site looks strangely appealing in the Kindle sepia tone.

It’s not the Internet it’s ACL

Grant Gorton on January 14, 2011 1:22 PM:

Yea, I don’t see why I couldn’t just pull the rss feed from google reader on the kindle. That should work. I mean, since you’re not going to get nice color images or anything, might as well just be text. Honestly though, I just got my kindle 3 days ago, and haven’t really had the need to try out the browser, so I don’t even know if that would work properly … I mean, it’s under the “experimental” section under settings. I will generally just view ACL on a computer, cause I like the color. The kindle is truly just for ready with me.

How about recommending some nice leather American made kindle cases?

    Kindle Edition = Muy Pimp!

    @mike Try Dodocase

    Charles on January 15, 2011 3:02 PM:

Did I miss the winter sale for the ACL Store?

    mike on January 17, 2011 11:04 AM:

The Dodocase looks nice. I’ll have to give it some thought though.

    clifford on January 19, 2011 1:47 PM:

Portenzo makes the same style cases as Dodocase but without the slippage problem.

Just for the hell of it I tried sending an SASE to get a “randomly selected printed post.” I thought it would be kind of neat, but I guess you weren’t serious since I received an empty envelope today. Thanks for helping me waste two stamps.

Michael Williams on January 29, 2011 2:42 PM:

I received one and sent it back with a post inside. Maybe the USPS took issue with it…

    Brian on January 31, 2011 2:24 PM:

Huh, ok then. I guess someone at the USPS must have wanted their own copy of an ACL post. Well, anyways, thanks for trying.
