Ref: ModeMan blog; click on the Union Jack under each blog entry – next to the word ‘translate’ :) – and it gives you a ‘google’ translation of that entry.

    What’s your Fall drink?
I’ve already started switching over to Dewar’s & Soda. I feel like it’s still too soon though for the Oktoberfests and Pumkin Ales, so I’m keeping the beer choice simple with Heineken Light, Beck’s Light, or Bud Light (at Shea).

Dog Fish 60 Day IPA. A hoppy IPA with backbone but not as heady as the 90. When it gets cold ;the Famous Grouse and after dinner, Laphroiag 10 year.

Also time for a big, honking Bordeaux, cab or Sagrintino de Montefalco (Umbrian sledge hammer needing at least 6 hours decant time)- – great wines but difficult to drink in 90 degree heat. I like to put reds in the fridge for 15 minutes or so just before serving. Gives you that “cellar” coolness. My friends laugh at me but they’re cretins I keep around for amusement.

Nice choice of single malts, TinTin.
