Enjoyed the Sea Island link but more importantly, was interesting to read the comments. My great grandfather was one of the founders of The Cloisters with Mr. Coffin. We have been going for 3 generations until the overhaul. Now it is so beyond our price limit that we have to find someplace else to summer. It is so sad that they have turned it into more of a convention center than a ‘luuuvely summa retreat’ as my grandmother would say. I stayed there for a last weekend and the staff rolled their eyes and said it is empty.
    Thanks Sport!
