Long revered for his enduring style, JFK is the focus of this week’s Flickr Find. All images are public domain from the National Archives.
I really like these pics. I wish American men would take pride in their appearance. Wearing quality clothing and having a personal style is always fashionable and timeless.
My fav pic is the 1st one…it’s seems to be the realest.

JFK looks so cool even though the tie is askew, the shirt is rumpled. Sort of defines how to wear a shirt in heavy winds. Why don’t leaders look like this anymore? Who does their shopping?
HTJ,
I agree. Politicians of today have horrible style. It is a look that is more based on polling than anything else. JFK was unique in his personal taste in clothing. I remember a story one of the really senior (read: old) J. Press salesmen once told me. His father for many years owned a gentlemen’s hat concern in New York City and he blamed Kennedy for ruining the business by not wearing a hat. Pretty funny when you think about it.
WOW Awesome Pictures! Don’t you wish we had someone like him to vote for now.
