Envelopes, Office Stationery & Research.

One of the things I am most interested in – other than clothing – is stationery. Most times I simply admire from afar and this is definitely one of those situations. The Tokyo based company POSTALCO designs and produces some of the most simple and beautiful stationery products and leather goods that I have ever encountered. Below are some of my favorites from the company’s website.

Everyone needs one of these fabric and leather envelopes to carry their pen and pad to a meeting.

Chic business card holders are a must. This one is nice and it is not the same old Muji that everyone has.

Tool box, amazing.

Notebooks. The color options are terrific. I want a full set. Click to enlarge.

POSTALCO also makes bags. Below are two of my favorites. The leather tote that looks like it will age beautifully and the “Bridge Bag” backpack. Simple and cool looking with the helmet bag type top handle.

To roughly convert, simply drop a digit. 46,200 yen is $462 US (a bit more, actually). Stuff’s available at Spade, Auto and Takashimya on 5th according to Web site. NICE!

Most of these (everything except the tote, i believe) are available at South Willard in Los Angeles.
