    White shirt looks a lot like Cary Grant. Love the woody motorboat and the waterskiing picture tells a great story.

    You simply cannot replicate the look of Kodachrome from that era. Everything just looks a little bit cooler / more idyllic / etc / etc.

    My mom just surprised me with a couple good-sized boxes of Kodachrome slides that my grandfather took between the early 40s and early 50s. I posted a few of them recently and will hopefully do more.

    This is a great series. Can’t wait to see what else you have in store.

    Rumsey — I’m pretty sure that was taken in the Florida Keys. Not sure exactly which one though.
