You simply cannot replicate the look of Kodachrome from that era. Everything just looks a little bit cooler / more idyllic / etc / etc.
My mom just surprised me with a couple good-sized boxes of Kodachrome slides that my grandfather took between the early 40s and early 50s. I posted a few of them recently and will hopefully do more.
This is a great series. Can’t wait to see what else you have in store.
