The Ford Bronco

A Snappy Wagon Well Suited for Work or Play

The Ford Bronco is coming back for 2021 and the much-anticipated announcement and full-reveal is only about is a week away. Yesterday there was news from Ford that there are going to be three variants of Bronco —Bronco two-door, first-ever Bronco four-door, and smaller Bronco Sport model— which will form a new Bronco overland family.

Since this is not a car site, I’m sure no one is looking to me for this news from me, but the reason for the post is because Ford released a treasure trove of historical material on the Bronco today as a part of the bigger announcement. When I dug through the link I was blown away and figured I have to post a bunch of this stuff for everyone to see. Over the years there has been a lot of love for the Bronco (and even the humble Bronco II) on ACL.

I wish I would have bought one or two of the vintage ones I have seen along the way, but am also I don’t own more old cars than I already do. It’s nice to reminisce about these vintage trucks especially with all of these old photos — most of which I’m seeing for the first time including these golf course shots which are amazing. The promotional film at the top from 1966 is also especially enjoyable to watch. There’s a lot more historical stuff that I will share in a few other posts in the next week or so. Enjoy and happy off-roading.
