Allow me to take a brief pause from all of the exciting Italian things that are happening at the moment to share with you a little video that I participated in before fleeing the country. Thanks to Gilt, Josh and Tyler for including me. Also, a big thanks to Bushmills for the 16 year single malt we enjoyed during the taping. And remember friends, beer has a “born on” date for a reason.

“The disciples”, I love it.
By the way, love the old school locker setup inside the factory. That’s clever.
I take that “van down by the river” comment personally…. well done.
Great interview. That blond guy would have been an awesome highschool bully for a 90’s flick. Anyone know his background, I doubt the traditional fashion route, I am guessing MBA, with a stint in banking or consulting.
Thanks for the mention! Your site is top shelf.
Well done, Michael. Really, well done.
Awesome!
There’s something so touchy about saying “men’s fashion” and I like that you hinted at that. Menswear is more than just clothes which is what the hollow term “fashion” lacks. Good interview.
Nice work. Enjoy the fact you actually drank your Bushmills.
@fermelife, my accountant wishes I had an MBA and a background in banking.
Fucking great man. Your ACL factory makes me jealous as does your working knowledge of the outskirts of menswear like that Artifact Bag waxed canvas lunch tote.
glad you drank your booze. booze-as-stagedressing is just about as twee as it gets.
Great job, MW. One of my favorite “Manual Minutes”/”In The Closet” to date.
…inspiring, knowledgeable….top drawer.

Michael thanks for changing my life.
While the artifacts bag is very nice – and I love that you knew about it – I personally have a fondness (read nostalgia) for the simple brown paper bag for carrying my lunch – as long as the opening is folded closed and not scrunched closed. One bag can last weeks and one large box-store purchase of bags can become a heritage item you pass on to your grandchildren.
Being a men style blogger myself, I can only imagine what it feels like to touch so many people and to have such a huge audience like ACL and Michael do…
Thanks for the inspiration, and keep it up!….
cheers..
Jesus H, now I have to go buy a canvas lunch bag, damnit…
So many smokin’ men of style in one room! (PS: Michael, liked the Bushmills Blush on your face)
“one bag can last weeks and one large box-store purchase of bags can become a heritage item you pass on to your grandchildren.”
Fucking hilarious, dude.
You’re the man. That was fun and informative.
Got me right here man.
What kind of jeans is Michael wearing in this video?
Great interview! Well done sir.
Nice tree stump table for the Bushmills.
Im guessing Michaels rocking a pair of selvedge denim APC new standards,Tellason or Apolis activism?
Am I right or completely wrong?
Is the shirt by Gant,Steven Alan,Gitman Vintage or other?
Cheers
ACL x Tellason jeans. Steven Alan shirt.
Thanks for the tree stump, Dad.
This is great! My wife keeps trying to push this Potterybarn lunch bag on me. I gotta grab one of those waxed canvas bags.
LOVE the Lunch Bag!! Gett’in me one of those. Oh yeah, and the tree stump too! Nice touch.
The video’s a good look – keep em com’in!
damn fine & honest laughs!
For lunch bags I prefer a small Bean boat & tote. Probably a fraction of the cost of the waxed bag.
