With the fifth ever Pop Up Flea which is taking place this weekend (kick-off tomorrow at 3pm), we decided to organize a little preview of what folks can expect at the event. We called up four vendors (Ted Harrington from Terrapin Stationers, Alexander Olch, Ben Clymer from Hodinkee and Chris and Kirk Bray from Billykirk) to talk about what people can expect to see from them at this year’s PUF and we also wanted to hear about their past experiences at the flea. Just a little taste of what is to come.
We have a huge line-up of great people with all sorts of amazing stuff to check out, so if you are in NYC make your way over to Pop Up Flea. Time and other info below. See you there.

Really wishing I was in NYC for this. Nothing this good in Southern California south of Los Angeles. Only about two cool shops down my way now. Thanks for keeping me up to speed via the Internet and looks like you have dropped some weight MW. Bravo on all fronts.
The pop up fleas always look great to me, is it possible to bring one over to LA, I see Travis and I are on the same wavelength.
Had the pleasure of going last year. Great stuff, great folks. Jealous!
Michael, Congratulations! From what I gather over instagram, and the film above, the Flea looks incredible. Would it be possible to post some information about the Broncos for your followers on the West Coast? It’s hard to find uncut beauties in such fine original form, and I’m curious to find out more about their condition / engines / and price tags. There’s plenty in LA, but unfortunately, most of them have undergone the knife and wear too much makeup. Anyway, thanks in advance and have a great rest of your show… Always inspiring!
What tablet are they using in this video? Also, what case/keyboard?
Can’t believe I left NYC just before this started. Hopefully next year. Any plans to do this in other cities?
This was such a well done event, extremely inspiring and each vendor had the most amazing offerings. As a partner and brand manager in a leather guitar strap and accessory company who is trying to move all production to the US this was great to be able to speak to brands doing this now, thank you !
Hi Micheal
Been quietly following ACL for 5 years now all the way from Melbourne, Australia (and although enjoying hours of fun reading the comments over that time this is my first comment) and just wanted to say that your blog (and other efforts such as PUF) are extremely inspirational and considered. Keep up the great work. Thank you.
Looks really good, wish I could have gone, maybe next time!
I want to visit NY soon.
Will it pop up again before the holidays ??
Ruth, nope. One and done.
Congratulations – very nice video…good quality , Really wishing I was in NYC for this.
