ACL Field Trip | Made in Italy

In an effort to further explore the concept of “craft” and what “made in” means to countries other than America, I will be spending the next eight days all over Italy with some of the most well respected menswear companies in the world. I’ve got my 5D MKII, a pair of Red Wings, notebook, a bag full of Steven Alan shirts and a lot to learn. Posting will be intermittent and your patience is appreciated. You can always follow the espresso-powered live action via the ACL Twitter feed.

I am probably not the same as most of your readers – whom I expect to be young, fashionable, movers and shakers. However, I, like them, depend on your blog. Your “made in” & “craft” posts have me hooked. Although I have traveled all over the world, it is a privilege to get to see the behind the scenes of the quality makers in this world. I eagerly anticipate my pleasure (& education) from the posts you will be sharing regarding your discoveries in Italy. Good luck. Carolina

Please mention that “made in” doesn’t necessarily mean it was completely assembled their because of varying laws.
