Long time listener, first time caller. Heard that song live, could be his best track ever.

I agree with Greg, Atlantic city is certainly one of the best tracks and is most definitely one of my most cherished albums. I love this to the grave.

“Atlantic City” is one of the few non-Broadway songs written since 1965 that’s going to be part of the Great American Songbook.

My favorite version of this song is actually done by Hank Williams III, look it up if you haven’t heard it, it brings new life to the track.

The Seeger Sessions live version is great as well. I drive by the farm and barn where he wrote and recorded this album everyday on my way to and from work. I am often listening to Springsteen on that road in.

I love it. Thank you. Made my day. My father grew up in Ventnor. He and I get it.

Nice call on the Band’s version, Levon’s has plenty down home soul to carry those lyrics.
