Nice picks. Might I suggest some of the Morning Benders new album “Big Echo”. Very fitting for your stay on the West Coast.

Big fan of swedish pop? Me too. I’d also recommend the album White Magic by CEO. Very good stuff.

Other new albums you might want to check out:
    Fang Island
    Future Islands
    Arcade Fire
    Menomena

If you like more swedish music I recommend:

    Adrian Lux – teenage crime
    Oskar Linnros (Swedish lyrics)
    Daniel Adams-Ray (Swedish lyrics)
    Jonathan Johansson (Swedish lyrics)
    Rebecca & Fiona
    Juvelen
    CEO
    Säkert (Swedish lyrics)

maybe not all the same kind of music, but still really good.
