Not that you care but did you know that the “Suburban” is the longest running title for an automobile? It started back in the early days as ‘Suburban’ and ‘Carryall’ and almost all the auto brands used the name, including GMC/ Chevy. The name Suburban was officialy a registered trademark to General Motors for motor vehicles on May 31st, 1988. Random I know…. Like the pics you shared.

I bought one a few months back and It’s like I just fell out of an episode of “The Fall Guy” when I’m driving it.

The late ’80s, early Æ90s Jeep Wagoneers with the true wood paneling are pretty killer as well. In HS I worked at a Garden Center and the boss had one, he asked me to go out to a farm to pick up strawberries in it, I took the long route. Thing was like driving on a cloud.

I wish car advertising/photography would look like this these days. I am really sick of all those cgi rendered cars with perfect reflections. I wanna see the happy family with their dog, the delivery man, the farmer, etc. next to their car again! I really like these old catalogues.

my first car in high school was a 72 el camino. almost got a reckless driving ticket on the first night of having my license because of that car. officer felt bad since i had my license for only 4 hours…my dad has always been a chevy man. he owned a 48 panel truck for 27 years as i was growing up. he has felt the heartbeat for a long time

a few months ago i bought a beastly 77 jeep J-10, i was in the market for a pick-up , and my girlfriend’s dad has owned roughly 6. So i decided to join the club, so far it has been quite a little journey to get it where it is now, but i still have far to go before it is restored to its original bad ass self.
