These really do blow my mind. The parachutes one! There needs to be a book of these!

Michael Williams on May 26, 2010 12:47 PM:

I agree with you guys — there is definitely an opportunity for a book. I have actually already been approached, but I’m holding out for my favorite publisher. If that doesn’t happen, then so be it. Either way i’m glad you all like these images as much as I do.

I just recently sent another good batch of slides out to be scanned — so some new images coming soon. Although, these two photographers were really good. —ACL

You’ve got some solid shots of Detroit and it’s surroundings (my hometown)! I would love to see more!

Great post. I quite enjoy checking out your blog. You do a fantastic job with it. I hope you’ve been having a wonderful week.

You do have the makings of a book there. When you write it, I hope that you will include as much information as possible about each picture, though I realize it will be impossible with some.

Lineage of Influence on May 27, 2010 2:53 PM:

As with the other posts in this series, these shots are stunning.

And there’s no doubt a beautiful book in these waiting to be published. Good luck with it & I hope your favorite publisher gets in touch, the pictures really deserve it.

If that paratroop photo just came in 1080×1920 desktop wallpaper size I don’t know if I’d ever need another.
