The fellas at GQ have really done a great job covering fashion week, so much so that I really don’t feel like I have much to contribute beyond what they are doing. I did however take a little video at the Rag & Bone show this past Friday that turned out pretty nice (if I don’t say so myself). With that said, I think it would be worth seeing here on ACL. I took the video with my Leica D-Lux 4 camera and the music from the show didn’t record very well (as it was so loud), so I added in something on my own. Hope the Rag & Bone people don’t mind. The collection looked really nice and it was a lot of what we have been seeing throughout NYFW. Chunky knits, Fair Isle patterns, layers, camo, sweatpants. See for yourself.

Wow, this was literally like watching the whole show in 26 seconds. Great job Michael.
dude, we were listening to xx at least 9 months ago…it was a young marble giants ripoff then too…
Sam go back to Pitchfork. No one cares.
Pretty cool individual pieces, but I honestly see a lot of grunge in the ensembles, and that’s a look that I didn’t like the first time around.
I just deleted my itunes, almost all of it was over 9 months old.
Really, Sam? You were listening to The XX 9 months ago? Sweet. Pat yourself on the back. You’re the best. It really makes me happy to know that you’re so fucking cool.
Douchebag.
I wonder if he’ll be back for more.
but was the music made in the US of A?
I loved seeing this. I worked for the press for some of the FW shows and mostly just saw the women’s. Rag & Bone are in their stride and these pieces are super. I also loved the fact that you used one of my new fave bands. It’s true; we’re all so behind the times. Even Sasha Frere-Jones. Way to go boys, for firing on “sam.” He sounds young though.
