Holy shit! Is that a black SINGLE NEEDLE oxford shirt with a FLAP POCKET! I came to this site cause I heard dude was changing the classic Americana game but this is almost too much. Man, I wish the Gap had the balls to make shirts as edgy as this.

Visionary stuff dude. You have replaced Nigo as my fashion hero.

"Except for the color I think the black oxford is great." That was hilarious. You should call the other color "faded black."

I think Michael's been pretty straight up about the intentions of the blog, especially since the redesign a few months ago. I think we're all smart enough to know when any blogger is writing about something they found on their own and when they are in direct contact with the maker of the product.

I take things with a grain of salt and if I don't like something or someone, I stop reading. The blog is still free to read, no one is forcing me to read, and I thank Michael and the other bloggers I read for taking the time and effort to supply me with a little entertainment each day.

Michael doesn't elaborate enough in the description, so it came as a pleasant surprise to find that the quality is notably nicer than your typical Steven Alan shirt. This thing is tough as nails. And the fit, as usual, is impeccable. This may very well be my new best friend.

(but sorry, man, the calling card thing could've been worded a bit better. Just delete it or something so we can all forget? You can do that with the internet now, right?)

ACL x SA sounds good to me. I mean, a black oxford. Yes, thank you. But, seeing the blog evolve/devolve to shop (i.e. commercial concerns) AND inanities like “a little flap-pocket detail that has become known as my calling card” (i.e. ergo ego) makes me slightly worried.

You gotta be kidding me with these comments. Capitalism is probably the MOST American thing about the site.

Most of you are just pissed that Michael had the balls and skill set to think of this idea before you...I know I am!

That said, keep up the always fascinating work and sell away!
