If I was tasked with making ACL into a physical space, I don’t know if I could do better than the Ace Hotel New York. It is funny that one of the few really cool things I have seen at the Las Vegas apparel trade shows today was a bag from a hotel company. One could argue that the Ace is a lifestyle (and I wouldn’t disagree), a lifestyle that is pretty much perfectly in step with ACL (or vice versa). At any rate, the folks at Ace definitely have their shit together when it comes to hotels or locking bank bags with bowling shirt embroidery. Well played indeed.

Model’s Shirt: Steven Alan. I think.
We stayed in the NYC hotel recently. Good spot, they do have it together. You can’t beat French Pressed coffee in the lobby. They were still doing a little work on the place, so I’d like to go back when it totally finished.
Quoddy’s? Dawson mocs perhaps
The hotel is great but the collaborations are getting a little insane. I imagine no one but menswear bloggers crowding the lobby.
What’s with the guessing games?
GREAT bag!!! I miss using fun bags around the city. Purse snatches run rampid in KL, sadly, so I leave my favorites back in the safety of my closet. So sad. Maybe if the thieves saw a lock swinging from my zipper they’d think twice!
Rifkin.
What’s the story on these bags?
Is it a collaboration – will they be sold only at the hotels?
Details, sir!

ACE… take away a cross bar and an arm, you’ve got ACL.
Band of Outsider plaid shirting? White Buttons?
Rifkin it is. Thanks, Andy!
yeah, so what is the deal with these bags? Are they going to sold, or something only the hotel has?
You can buy this bags(or very similar) from Freemans Sporting Club. I got mine over a year ago and it’s great. Good work by the Billykirk guys. Heres the link:
