A new addition to The American List is Maryland’s C.R. Daniels, which sells a variety of goods under the Dandux label. The company manufactures all different sorts of canvas and molded plastic items; everything from conveyor belts to the plastic seats for Black Hawk helicopters. So if anyone gives you shit about your canvas tote bag, just let them know that is was rolling off the production line right next to part of a damn Black Hawk, that outta shut them up. The basic black and natural canvas bags are priced at an affordable $26.95, have a killer Dandux label and are all made in the USA – you can’t beat it with a stick. All of the Dandux canvas goods can be seen here.

Wow, great find. I think I need this bag in my life!
Are all of the Wild Duck bags made by Dandux?
Wow, these are really boring. I would look like a bag lady. Frumpy.
Dirtbag — I can’t help it if you already look like a bag lady and these are just enhancing that. —ACL
Great looking simple bags – nice find Michael. So cheap too…
dandux used to make a nice straight-jacket, in addition to their awesome totes.
Michael,
I just don’t like the look, but calling me dirtbag is really not on.
Michael,
Very happy that you found the brand and like it. I wrote up something about Wild duck bags a few years ago but never got around to contacting C.R. Daniels. (of course they are located just up the road from me, go MD!)
Great job.
While the material is different– the shape is army issue aviator helmet bag. Not bad. Any pockets on the inside?
Nice Bags!
