If Filson took it upon themselves to yank a product line in the manner Wolverine did with Crane's (despite Crane's having more info and line of sight about the boots then all of the bloggers and web outlets Wolverine is pumping these boots to combined) then yes I probably would.

God forbid real world B&M stores outside the hipster community see these things. Remind me again why Red Wing dominates this market?

yeah josh. this is still a fashion boot line and should be sold in fashion driven stores. there are also special edition filson products that would not be distibuted through crane's. are you going to stop buying from them too?

Apparently Wolverine thinks it's long time retailers like Crane's aren't good enough to carry this "heritage" line.

	They just lost my business.

Kit, The bottoms are LEATHER with a rubber heal. Wood soles only on clogs.

When I get these I will have my cobbler put a rubber "commando" sole in the front for winter conditions. I still think they will be a handsome shoe.

Creases happen after one day? Can you shed some light on what kind of leather they use? Is the bottom of the shoe all wood, or wood/rubber? Thanks

Any word on the rest of the 1000 mile collection making it to production?

These are great looking but the rest of the collection, in my eyes, stands head and shoulders above these aesthetically. I want all three Garrison boots at the very least.

I've got the Gentleman Trqvelers in the black cherry (amazing looking boot). But I will admit...the break-in period is intense. Now they are perfect, but the leather is so strong and stiff in the beginning it does take awhile to break them in. New to ACL. Love it.

I really like these boots.

It is still quite a toss up for me personally between these and gentleman travelers however.
