Not only are they a classically good looking shoe, but they repel water, are easy to clean, and get better looking the older they get. Bonus points for not being very popular, therefore they're still reasonably priced, and well made. My spring/sumer lineup is rounded out with a pair of high top Converse all-stars in black, and a pair of brown suede Ferragamo loafers I picked up about 10 years ago, and are the best shoes I've ever purchased.
