I can’t get enough of these Errol Morris Miller High Life commercials.
On a football related note, I can’t decide who I want to lose more today, the Ravens or the Steelers. Probably the Steelers (take that RPH). Either way I will be indulging in the High Life.

These commercials are absolutely fantastic, I remember watching every single one of them back-to-back a few months ago, and upon completing the task, looking outside and having to take a few minutes to convince myself that it wasn’t 1956. Needless to say, it was a distinct let down.

My favorite is still “Alternative Fuels.” Biking, flannel and High Life.

Those are so good. Wonder if it was difficult to convince Miller to crop their logos like that.

a frenchman must have crossed Morris at some point. quite a few derogatory comments mixed into the series. “french prizefighter”, love it. http://www.errolmorris.com/commercials/miller/miller_prizefighter.html

That’s a very charming commercial. I think is rises above mere advertising. I connected to his humanity, and pleasure in living. Of course I happen to be enjoying a beer right now, but even so…

JP, if you try beer….try Boddingtons. The High Life is great for commercials.

Beef. Beer. I was hoping he wouldn’t mash the burger down with the spatula– but he did. As any old fart’ll tell you, that’s mucho bad for the burger. Presses all the blood out AND compresses the meat. It’s like masturbating – - it feels good while you’re doing it but you’ll feel bad afterwards. Thanks, Kenny Shopsin.

Shopsin, ‘eh. I like killing flies….and masturbating. Neither make me feel guilty before/during/after.
