I am actually quite happy to see JCrew adopt this new retail presence. It is unfortunate for the old patrons of the previous watering hole, but at least big corporations are starting to pay attention to the city's past and culture by, at least, trying to preserve somewhat of a historic landmark. J.Crew is the best at lifestyle and brand experience. It was very true to the Liquor Store. I sent them a great vintage Indian chief postcard wishing them luck on the opening and it was up behind the bar which I took great personal pride in.
