Great article link on the future of American Malls. It’s nice to see the new “streets” concept being put into practice now.

Should’ve seen the Polo logo on the official Wimdelbum blazers two years ago. Thankfully, the All-England club put a stop to that this time around!

Huh. I would’ve imagined it’d be fiendishly difficult to develop new uses for malls. Surely it takes some major surgery and a lotta dough to make one of them (especially the enclosed multi-level ones) into something other than a big dumb empty box.

I sorta like malls but they are FAR too ubiquitous. I’d prefer it if they were relatively rare–if they functioned as retail amusement parks–rather than an organizing principle for all American suburbia.
