New Cards

Aug 7th, 2008 | Categories: Random | by Michael Williams

I would never miss an opportunity to print a business card. Yesterday my new ACL cards were delivered and I could not resist the urge to share them with you. The cards feature the new ACL logo and give hint to the pending site redesign. Mr. Benjamin Ferencz over at The Design Cooperative took care of the creative and everything turned out amazing. Thanks Ben! I’m sure Tim Bryce and Van Patten would prefer my card to Bateman’s.

Perhaps, it can be found somewhere else on the blog, I haven’t looked; however, do you want your phone number posted?

Well, had I dug a little further, I would have seen that you have various pieces of contact information throughout. I guess I answered my own question.

Looking forward to the re-vamp! It also must be a very exciting time for you I’m sure. Loving the American Psycho clip as well. Fantastic film.

    Nice card. No watermark?

Is Material Review going to get a revamp as well? Great job on both blogs.

Glad to see you went with engraving. ACL would have lost a lot of street cred had I seen thermography all up in there.

Since you’re posting your card I figure I’m at liberty to be critical. I wish the “New York” in your new logotype wasn’t upside down. Also, don’t you find those lining figures a bit brutish in an otherwise lowercase line?

    More importantly, great blog.

No, I like my lining figures to be extremely brutish! Kidding. Thanks for the feedback.

i think i like the New York upside down. maybe it’s too obvious the other way. maybe it’s part of the continuous concept. And as far as the lining figures, i like the all caps. it’s a bit modern. just my humble opinion.

Those are sweet, sir. Now the real question is, in what case does a dapper guy like Mr. Williams carry such a natty card?
