speaking of Field Notes, another great line of notepad is Rhodia. also graph paper, they come in a variety of sizes and bindings.

So I was at a parents' soccer coaching clinic last night and wouldn't you know it, the instructure was using a brand spankin' new bullet pencil. I inquired after class and found out it was standard issue for referees, umpires, etc... Google "bullet pencil referee" and you'll find plenty of hits. Order one, check out the manuf info and you'll have ACL bullet pencils in no time...

ACL - Will add these to the look out list next month. If its a flea market you want, you owe it to yourself to visit the Kane County Market. Not quite the cache of New England but plenty of Midwest nostalgia to peruse. Good excuse to visit Chicago anyway...

re: Moleskine - They've passe'd me once and I'm sure will do so again...

Dear Chasingmoss,

If you see them at a flea market, buy them and I will send you a check.

Field Notes differ from Moleskine in the sense that they are a little larger, designed to be similar to old farming notebooks and in my opinion cooler. Moleskine notebooks are passe.

Regards,
ACL
