I fell in love with the Kodak Kodachrome only a short time ago thanks to Shorpy. I recently made a huge camera acquisition but nothing about modern digital photography can replace the color and the richness of a Kodachrome. Paul Simon said it best..

Kodachrome
They give us those nice bright colors
They give us the greens of summers
Makes you think all the worlds a sunny day, oh yeah
I got a Nikon camera
I love to take a photograph
So mama don’t take my Kodachrome away
