Wise words from a man who has been around long enough to know. Spoken with an eloquence I don’t usually associate with Marines. As a Paratrooper I can only offer three more:

31. No one hates like the hated.
32. When the only tool you have is a hammer the whole world looks like a nail.
33. Drink local beer.
