On my way home from the office last week I stopped by the Steven Alan Annex in TriBeCa. If you were wondering (because I was), the “Annex” store means that it carries the Steven Alan brand and other labels. While the straight up “Steven Alan” stores carry only the house made goods. What I quickly came to realize while browsing is that I am obsessed with Steven Alan. The store is my perfect aesthetic – spot on as they say in England. There are some cool new brands for spring, like the Japanese label Edifice (great outerwear), United Arrow’s line Beauty & Youth and Shipley & Halmos. Plus the store carries most of my tried and true favorites like Rogues Gallery, A.P.C., Filson, Gilded Age, Engineered Garments, the list goes on and on. Also in stock are three of my current favorite footwear lines Common Projects, Spring Court (canvas shoes for everyone!) and the LA based amazingness that is The Generic Man.

I also heard that Steven Alan is opening its third store out in LA, bringing woven shirt goodness to the beach. The new store will be situated on Palms Blvd near Abbot Kinney in Venice. Just down the street from The Stronghold.
